Cat Byrd
Cat Byrd, 28, is a queer artist based in Eastern Iowa/Western Illinios. They found their love for art through local public programs that they've continued to be involved in over the years. This included participating in QC Art's Chalk Art Fest four times, being a vendor artist at local markets, painting benches for multiple city programs and painting windows for Deck The Downtown in the QC. Their art is dense and lively with intense contras and thick brushstrokes. It is full of vibrant colors, and love for the unknown. Cat strives to inspire others to pick up a paint brush or pencil, and start creating for themselves.
